Talk: "Dramaturgy, Screenwriting and Storytelling"
Germering · 27 November 2025 · by MFVC Editorial
The Munich Film and Video Club (MFVC) invites film lovers, hobby filmmakers, and culture enthusiasts to a public talk. Under the title “Dramaturgy, Screenwriting and Storytelling”, key foundations of cinematic storytelling will be explained in an accessible way and illustrated with practical examples.
Three core questions guide the evening:
- How does a first idea become a compelling story?
- What makes a convincing screenplay?
- How is suspense built dramaturgically – and how is it sustained?
The talk is given by Günter Pruner, the MFVC’s chair. He connects theory with years of club work, many own projects, and shared productions. Attendees get insight into storytelling tools, classic dramaturgical models, and practical examples from film and media.
